I love this place. The salted caramel is just like you would find in Okinawa. Addicting. Not sure if I like this better than Oma spoon but it's a similar ice cream dessert that feels like it's less dairy.

I love this ice cream although lately they have been seriously skimping on the portions so that the ice cream doesn't even cover the top of the cone and it tapers more narrowly than it used to.

While they have a wide variety of flavours from black sesame to matcha tea, banana chocolate, milk tea, green mint, red cherry and lychee, my favourite remains the Green Tea ice-cream with red bean. Seriously, give it a try. For the price and portion they give you, it is definitely more worth it than say Gelatissimo's gelato. The taste is also different - this is milky and quite "heavy" in taste - it's also less sweet - the matcha tempers the sweetness and adds this pleasant element of "bitterness", and you really get the contrast. As I do like milky ice-cream I'm a fan of this. If you dislike dairy products and milky-tasting things, you're better of sticking with gelatos and sorbets and giving this a miss. Another thing I like about this ice-cream is the cone - it's the light yummy type of Japanese wafer! Better than the standard ice-cream cones.

This is one of the few places that takes their ice cream seriously. In Japan, Hokkaido is well known for its dairy products, especially the quality of its milk. From this, an internationally renowned Hokkaido Gelato Ice Cream is produced with no chemical addictive. This is the only place in Singapore where I can lick their green tea ice cream forever and not get sick of it. So many places I have tried their green tea ice cream have failed to mimick the same quality as Azabu Sabo's. Their strawberry , milk tea and passion fruit ice cream are not to be missed as well. I guess it IS because of their milk that makes the quality of their trademark green tea ice cream infallible in food obsessed Singapore.
